A Moated Keep

Eastcairn Keep Ignoring my total laziness when it comes to posting regularly fly, or not doing so, let's highlight this great Castle build by Sir Edwyn! I really enjoy his style, the washed-out colors, fringing ramshackle style, and overall solidity really make his build good. I like this one a lot, the water looks really good and, need I mention, the stonework. The wooden balcony is sagging just enough to look cool but not enough to be unrealistic. Overall a knock-out build.

A Battle On The Coast

LoR GCX - Revenge - Settling scores

TBT veteran Becheman has built, or rather rendered, this action-packed scene of two ships in combat on a coast(a very nice one at that). As far as I've seen the water technique is original to the builder, and it works very well here. The burst of flame from the smaller ship is expertly composed, too.

A Snug Workshop

The Carpenter
Digger1221 is responsible for this solid little build of a medieval carpenter's workspace. I really like the way he did the roof with Technic pins, and the dark red/light bley texturing looks very realistic.

Grudge

"Grudge" Ultra-Heavy Class Combat Harsuit
Rancorbait built this absolutely sick little mech. The shaping and color scheme on the suit come together very nicely,  rounding out the whole thing with little details that look mechanical.

Huge LEGO castle build is fabulously modular!

Over the past few months, frumpybiscuit has updated us Merlin's-Beard with tantalizing WIP shots of the different modules to fit into his large-scale castle project. Now it's complete, and the end result does not disappoint. Check through onto his Flickr to see lots more detailed pictures.

Bluewater Castle

BlueWater Castle
Most of the time, when a builder will post a large scale castle MOC, the wow factor will be the sheer size and scale, while sometimes some detail can be lost. Not so with Cesar Soares' incredible build, which blows me away both with size and fantastic detail. Bravo!

Heating Up

Heating Things Up

Patrick Massey built this amusingly expressive little scene for the Guilds of Historica. The icing on the cake is the fire effects and the expression of the soldier.
