Huge LEGO castle build is fabulously modular!
Over the past few months, frumpybiscuit has updated us Merlin's-Beard with tantalizing WIP shots of the different modules to fit into his large-scale castle project. Now it's complete, and the end result does not disappoint. Check through onto his Flickr to see lots more detailed pictures.

Bluewater Castle

Most of the time, when a builder will post a large scale castle MOC, the wow factor will be the sheer size and scale, while sometimes some detail can be lost. Not so with Cesar Soares' incredible build, which blows me away both with size and fantastic detail. Bravo!

Heating Up

Patrick Massey built this amusingly expressive little scene for the Guilds of Historica. The icing on the cake is the fire effects and the expression of the soldier.

The guardian of the forest
Aloha!
There have been a ton of brickbuild Ents, but Dennis Qui brings it up to a whole new level. Not only is his Ent bigger then most Lego-Ents before, he also makes perfect use of the different-colored leaves.

Hold them back!

Infernum built this gorgeous castle scene. Anyone knows I'm a sucker for awesome stonework like this; the techniques used fit so well together. The figs are cool too and the posing is excellent.

Foxbat

Malydinar posted this sweeeeet little fighter on Flickr. Some excellent part use and color choice going on here. I like the details on the landing pad, too.

Ye olde cottage

I like this homestead by new builder Aardwolf_83. While I'm not normally a fan of that color combo for wood, I think it works well here, and the builder has done a good job of creating a dense thicket.
