Bonsai

Bonsai Tree
Pascal has built this simplistic yet lovely Bonsai tree. I can't pin down exactly what makes it stand out, maybe the lack of any advanced techniques, the expert photography, or nice color choices, but this really is a winner to me.

Surfin' on a shield

MELO Round 3: Legolas
Here's everyone's favorite funny moment from Peter Jackson's adaptation of The Two Towers. As most who read this blog will know, I'll blog anything with great stonework, and this scene nails it. Nice work Tomcrowe87!

Imprisoned!

Katoren Jail
I'd like to highlight this cool Arabic Jail by TFOL John Snyder. I really am a big fan of the stonework here, and the subtle, realistic details like the ingenious jail bars and  the weathered road really make this creation pop for me.

Move out, bears

Teddy Team 6 I'm not sure whether to squeal with delighted glee or scream in utter terror after seeing these. Maybe both. Either way, great job Mayos.

HMS Virtue

Sir Valiant has posted this beauty of a ship, and I can't get enough of it. I love the vibrant colours and all the small details. I've been inspired to start planning to build my own naval vessel! Check out more photos in the Flickr set.

Norah's Noria

NorahsMain
ZCerberus built this great scene. I love the expert Tudor sections, and the landscape outside rounds out a very clean build. This really looks like something you would see out in a European countryside.

Risen from the flames

Aloha!

LEGO DOU MOKO build this brilliant Phoenix only using transparent pieces. He makes perfect use of the new Chima pieces like the fiery wings. All in all a perfect creation. PHENIX
