LEGO DOU MOKO build this brilliant Phoenix only using transparent pieces. He makes perfect use of the new Chima pieces like the fiery wings. All in all a perfect creation.

Mike M. (Legominded) made this neat build.  The character of the figure is great, I love the details he put in all around this build, and I see a ton of clever parts usages.  Great job Mike!

Christ Redeemer

Riccardio Zangelmi made this wonderful model.   The lighting, presentation, and the simple elegance here combine to make a great build.

Down came the wall!

What better way to kick off the new year than by highlighting this fantastic creation by Infernum, built for a Guilds of Historica  challenge. The wall texturing is great, but the real star of the show is the ballista bolt poking through the wall, which as a result is toppling to the ground. The falling effect is almost artistic, although I doubt the guy on top would agree. Lovely job!

Amidst fierce competition and a lot of truly splendid MOCs being built for the CCXII contest on Classic-Castle I'd like to highlight Dubbadgrim's entry. Not only did he  achieve a unique representation of the traditional fairy tale of The Three Little Pigs (my favourite) but did so with great style and design!

Pine forest

Marco den Besten has really taken his signature tree technique to the next level with this new MOC. The sheer size combined with the excellent build makes for one beautiful pine tree.
