Toa Taurho made this fantastic Bionicle creation.  The legs and arms fit together so nicely, and I really like all the various horns and spikes sticking off him.  I'm especially digging the head, those antlers really complete the build.

Today, a little creation by Intrond cought my eye in my flickr contacts list. The way he placed all those small details into the landscape and the castle is lovely. And that Clockwork Giant, as he calls it, is perfectly posed.

'I think we have a leak...'

Dubbadgrim's latest creation is a wonderful slice of classic castle, looking like it could have come straight out of an older set. Whilst the black/bley/red combination on the keep is striking, the part that I like best is the underground tunnel - the brown slopes are perfect as the muddy walls.

Bullseye!

Pepa Quin built this crossbow. It's simple, yet I'm delighted at it's shaping and part use.

Creepily crawling

Aloha! I allways loved giant insects, and I'Ve allways loved good Bionicle builds. legorobo:waka brings us an amazing combination of both. Build for the Battle for the golden Mask this creepy insect instandly cought my eye. All those yummy colors... :D

Trial by fire

I can't say I'm usually a fan of digital builds in general, but in the case of Becheman, both his skill and more visually impressive rendering program more than make up for the slight off look digital builds can have. Case in point is his latest Lands of Roawia MOC, Trial by Fire. I must say the multi leveled aspect of the MOC and great details on the tower and landscape really wow me. The fig posing is also stellar, especially on the guy shooting the ballista.

Anyone for tea?

Orange and blue. Not two colours you see in a MOC everyday, but David Roberts has sure pulled it off here. I love how blocky the VicViper itself is, and how it can still look sleek. I love it.

An Old Museum

Up-and-coming builder Neomar Dethron built this nice, modular-esque museum scene. The diagonal angle of the MOC and well-achieved, and detail is not abandoned.

It's good to be bad

It's me, Dead Frog inc. So, I will be blogging stuff on here now, mostly space and Bionicle.
So I will start this off by presenting you an awesome creation by [Oblivious]. What makes this creation stand out for me its how all the masks are used. The chest, the legs and even the top of the staff are made out of heads.
one more thing worth mentioning is the usage of the sails. Not only do they work really well as big deamon wings, but also as a nice little piece of clothes.

Number 5

We are trying to get this blog going now. We are working on a new logo and a, well, 'advertising campaign', but first we have decided to appoint a fifth member of the TBT team, at least for a short while. Welcome to Dead Frog inc. - we just call him Frog. A builder of mostly sci-fi creations, Frog is a longstanding member of the online community, and we're glad to have him on board.

Breach the walls!

While I may not be a huge fan of high fantasy(With the exception, of course, of Tolkien), I, as a castle builder, can really appreciate Vitreolum's new MOC. the trebuchet is exceptional,looking sharp, realistic, and clean. And of course the wall is delightful, having a healthy dose of greebling. I like the design of the mini-tower on the far side of the parapet, very unique.

Undashed Spirits

I really like this MOC from Mark of Siloam, mostly because I love the busyness of the scene and how that really makes it feel like a chaotic medieval building site. The posing of the falling perfect, too.

The Osgiliath set that never was

While the run of Lego Lord of the Rings may be sadly over, there is still hope. Disco86 designed box art and set design for a battle of Osgiliath set. Now I have heard from a LEGO employee that the Middle-Earth license is still held, and if a project makes it on LEGO IDEAS, there is a chance of TLG making it. Middle Eastern Castle

Vitreolum pulled off this stunning representation of a Middle Eastern castle.  The texturing on the walls is superb, and the lighting and presentation couldn't be better.

Up, up and away

The scale of this tower from Shield-and-Sword Bricks is what really impresses, mostly because he was able maintain a great level of detail as he did so - nothing has been lost whilst making it tall.

Spears and churned-up water

Ian Diller may be one of our own, but I couldn't not blog his latest creation, The Sea-Drake. The dark transparent bricks as water is certainly an effective technique, especially when combined with the clear cheese slopes. There's some great figure posing as well.

War and peace, side by side

Mitah Val Karem's superb rendition of a city in Lenfald, a medieval-England type faction from the LoR RPG, has no flaws I can think of. Honestly, there is so much good here, from the small wooden house to the tiled floor and the stony path, but what struck me most is how a group of soldiers are assembling right next to a peaceful garden. The contrast couldn't be better.

The One That Got Away

The ever-creative Grant Davis churns out another great MOC. I personally think the brown bars for the dock looks great, keep that technique in mind, fellers!

Since when did sea battles look this cool?

Well, many of them look cool actually, and this is certainly one of them. Schmidt has built this beautiful ship with some great figure posing alongside. You've got to love this!

Sabotage In The Colony

A couple other builders and I, including TBT's own Jackson, recently started up a new MOC-based RPG challenge called Struggle for Klegon, which you can find over on Galactic-Bricks. One of the most prominent rising stars among the members of this MOC challenge is N-11 Ordo, who, for the game, built this scene, depicting a mercenary sabotaging the interior of a building. I have to say I really like those big glowing screens and the technique used to make the explosives. Well done!
